David serves as Vice President, Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer at Insulet Corporation (NASDAQ: PODD), with a broad range of responsibilities in the medical device and health care compliance and privacy domains. Insulet is an innovative medical device company improving the lives of people with diabetes and other conditions through its Omnipod delivery system.

David’s diverse private and public sector experience includes his tenure as Deputy General Counsel at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, as a partner in the health care practice of a downtown Boston law firm and as principal of a boutique law and consulting practice where he focused on health data privacy and security, health care innovation and health care policy. David has also been a senior consultant at a physician-led firm serving academic medical centers and has served as fractional general counsel and chief privacy officer to startup clients in the digital health space. He has served as a board member, board chair and advisor.

David was a charter member of the external Advisory Board of the Mayo Clinic Social Media Network, where he was recognized as a Platinum Fellow, and has served as the Public Policy Chair of the Society for Participatory Medicine, on the Health Law Section Council of the Massachusetts Bar Association and on the Advisory Board of FierceHealthIT.
